Watch a new video about Connected Communities

The Arts and Humanities Research Council has released a film looking back on the Connected Communities programme, a multi-million pound research programme designed to help us understand the changing nature of communities in their historical and cultural contexts and the role of communities in sustaining and enhancing our quality of life. Connected Communities is a fund that has championed and supported interdisciplinary collaboration between higher education, practice and communities, and has been a driving force behind action research that produces practical outcomes as well as academic findings.

Connected Communities has funded several of the research projects in which The Glass-House has been involved, such as our current project, Empowering Design Practices, and has greatly contributed to our work over the years.
