We’re delighted to see the hard work of the community of Kirdford, West Sussex to develop a neighbourhood plan come to fruition.

Last week the community voted a solid “Yes!” to the community-developed plans for their local area. The Glass-House helped the Kirdford community early on with hands-on design and community engagement support to enable them to think about how to plan for the future. Building on our initial work with them that fed into a Community Led Plan, they have since seized the opportunities afforded for communities through Neighbourhood Planning to build a robust, enforceable plan that crucially addresses the physical environment that their plan will deliver through a strong focus on design.

We’re very pleased to have played a role in supporting such a dedicated community to achieve their ambition and look forward to seeing their plan applied in the coming years.
