Design Training, Study Tours and Debates for 2010-2011
Debates
What is a Glass-House Debate? Glass-House Debates explore a theme related to the design of the built environment and community participation. This year we will be focusing on the impact a new community building has on the local neighbourhood versus a re-furbished one, and the implications this can have on social trends, the environment and economical factors.
We can confirm that we will be holding the debates in:
Edinburgh, 21 October 2010
Cardiff, 25 November 2010
Newcastle, 22 February 2011
London, 15 March 2011

This year we are launching our new Eco Neighbourhoods by Design course which will look at how community groups can make their neighbourhood or parts of them more sustainable.
Our Design Training courses for the year are:
February 2011 - Buildings by Design, Newcastle
March 2011 - Buildings by Design, London
